Kyle Davidson is a Physiotherapist and Exercise Physiologist at Mediphysio Hornsby. Being dual qualified, Kyle offers a very unique approach to injury and rehab. A master of hands on therapy, he specialises in migraine and headache treatment, but offers outstanding results with all other aches and pains. From back pain, through to complex multifaceted injuries, Kyle will be able to take you from day one of your injury, right through to completely rehabilitated.
Exercise Physiology is another degree on top of Physiotherapy. A four and a half year full time degree, on top of the already intense Physiotherapy degree, means Kyle is able to develop programs to help with weight loss, cardiovascular issues, diabetes among others. Combining Exercise Physiology with Physiotherapy also means that your progression from day one of an injury can be fast tracked to a functional phase of rehab, in the gym or at home with simple exercises. With access to the local gyms, Kyle is able to utilise commercial gym equipment for your therapy sessions. Contact Kyle directly in the below form if you have any questions about how he could help!
Kyle’s primary rehabilitation goal for all his patients is to maximise your performance and minimise your recurrence of injury by using his advanced bio-mechanical knowledge.
As a clinician Kyle’s interest is in treating the dysfunction, whilst reducing the pain, by restoring the functional movement pattern by having a ‘hands on’ approach to your rehabilitation.
He has a keen interest in lumbo-pelvic (hip and spine) dysfunctions and special interests post-operative rehabilitations especially of the shoulder and knees. He combines his strong biomechanical analysis and manual therapy in tailoring you a progressive exercise rehabilitation program.
Kyle has completed the following specialised training and qualifications:
- Musculoskeletal Segmental & Dry Needling (Western Acupuncture).
- Migraine and Headaches (Dean Watson Approach)
- Pelvis and lumbar spine treatment – muscle energy techniques (AMTA)
- Treatment of the Cervical Spine and Thoracic Cage (AMTA)
- Lyn Watson Shoulder Course
- Kinesio Taping
