Your Physiotherapists:

Elyse Potter:

Elyse is an APA Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist and is the Principal Physiotherapist of Mediphysio Zetland.

After completing her Physiotherapy degree in 2013 at the University of Sydney, she went on to complete her Masters of Sports Physiotherapy at La Trobe University, in order to expand her knowledge of injury diagnosis, management and rehabilitation.

Elyse has extensive experience managing injuries and implementing rehabilitation programs in a variety of different settings including multidisciplinary musculoskeletal clinics, high performance sport, orthopaedics and aged care. She has travelled both domestically and internationally with a variety of different sporting teams including Brisbane Heat, Cricket Australia, Queensland Cricket, Cricket NSW, Netball NSW, Marconi Stallions FC and North Shore Mariners FC.

Elyse is highly motivated and strongly believes that injury rehabilitation should be patient specific, with a focus on education, manual therapy and exercise. After completing a thorough physical examination, she uses these tools to work with the patient to reduce pain and improve function for all her patients.

Elyse is a very passionate Physio and regularly attends professional development courses and conferences to broaden her skill set, to ensure her skills remain at the forefront of the latest evidence-based research. She has worked in a private practice setting for over six years and has a keen interest in sport and orthopaedic injuries, women’s health and adolescent injuries.

In her spare time, Elyse enjoys running, travelling and watching sport.

Ben Wright:

Ben is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, having completed a Master of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy on top of his Physiotherapy degree.

Ben has advanced knowledge of a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries, with a strong interest in managing spinal, hip, and knee pain. He has close to ten years experience working in private practice and has worked with a variety of different sporting teams.

Ben combines manual therapy with tailored exercise rehabilitation to effectively manage each presentation. He provides a sound explanation to each patient regarding their problem and a clear vision of their pathway to recovery, and he applies advanced treatment methods to not only return each body to its pre-injury state, but to better it to minimise recurrence.

Ben also has a keen interest in strength training and believes it’s effectiveness relies heavily on how appropriately it is prescribed and progressed. He is well equipped to provide his patients with highly effective strength training programs for injury rehabilitation, injury prevention, and enhanced performance.

Kelly Parbery (Mostly Women’s Health):

Kelly Parbery is an experienced Senior Physiotherapist and is the Manager of Mediphysio. Kelly graduated from The University of Sydney in 2010 and since then has gained extensive experience by working in private practice, public hospital outpatient settings and within sporting clubs.

She is an expert in the assessment and management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions and is trained in the assessment of pelvic floor disorders and ante-natal and post-natal assessments. Kelly has completed further studies into women’s and pelvic health physiotherapy, priding herself on creating individualised treatment plans for women at any stage of their lives. She believes in a holistic approach to health, which focuses on a combination of manual therapy, exercise therapy and comprehensive education.

She currently treats a combination of women’s health patients, musculoskeletal injuries and especially enjoys treating chronic pain patients
