Workers Compensation claims can be tricky…but they don’t have to be! We have been seeing workers comp patients for so long now that we can make the whole experience and easier one. The biggest complaint from patients is all of the “hoops” you have to jump through. Mediphysio’s model works perfectly for this situation. Given that our clinics are located within medical centres, you are able to walk out of the appointment with your doctor and into an appointment with the Physiotherapist. This saves you time and energy. Whats more is that we work directly with the GP that is dealing with your paperwork.
Case Conferences:
A lot of the time case conferences are not possible when it comes to workers comp, but we are able to organise case conferences for you at a time that suits you. Whats more is that your GP, Physiotherapist and Exercise Physiologist will all be in the same room with you, to help make a plan that is concise, effective and easy to follow. A case conference is when all treating practitioners involved get together with you to discuss an ongoing plan, similar to what a hospital would do with any patient they have. this proves to be very effective and gives you a voice in your treatment.
Constant contact with GP:
Unlike most other Physiotherapy practices we have direct contact with your GP to update them on your progress and/or concerns. This also helps keep the process smooth, allowing you to focus on your health and not all the formalities. Leave that to us!
